Ahh yes the most beloved Trader Joe’s. Most of you have heard about this grocery store, and from what I have noticed most like it. However, there are the select few who hate this store. They would be the underpaid and unappreciated employees. Now having recently seen the movie 300 for the 4th time, I would naturally be filled with joy and anger and testosterone all at the same time. But under the Trader Joe’s law, I am not allowed to exert any of this Spartan Power. Which is where in lies the unfortunate tragedies of working at this Nazi run store.
Yes, I said NAZI. Customers like to think that when they walk through those big glass doors that they can run the store. They always come up to us yelling and crying that we don’t have a product on our shelves. This I don’t really care for because I simply tell them we don’t have it at the moment and to go yell at a manager. It’s when the customers tell me how to do my job that pisses me off. I had a customer the other day tell me how to do the bread section. Now to give you an idea on how big our bread section is, here are the numbers: 8 stacks with 6 shelves on each equaling 48 shelves to fill and a pastry table that can fit at least 18 shelves. Now when this customer told me that she knew how to organize it better than I did, I immediately yelled .. “BITCH, THIS IS SPARTA!!!” and kicked her down a bottomless pit. No unfortunately I didn’t do that because we don’t have a bottomless pit, and I would’ve been fired. But I was contemplating kicking her into the pastry table. However, the calmer side of me took over and told me to tell her this “well ma’am, if you think you can do a better job than me, perhaps you should get a job here and see what its like” … what i really wanted to say was “fuck you, get the fuck out of here if you don’t like how i do it .. *KICK* —> (bottomless pit)”. God that would’ve felt so great. So that’s just one of the many tragedies i suffer when working at Trader Joe’s

when you told me about your job at trader joe’s, you were braggin to me about how well you were getting paid
in response to frankies comment .. i apologize for what may have seemed like bragging, but if you were to trade me places for a week you’d understand that the stress, pressure, and aggravation are not worth what i’m getting paid .. this doesn’t mean i don’t like my job .. i just don’t like certain people at my job
